CRS drills are designed to drill in a wide range of conditions, both destructive and core drilling. It is the optimal choice for mixed and/or overconsolidated ground, at a typical depth of 80-100 metres (or more, depending on conditions and diameters), but also for drilling and coring in hard formations (boulders and rocks).
The CRS drill range consists of different versions.
The basic versions CRS-FXL (140 HP) and CRS-V (170 HP): perfectly suited for standard geotechnical work and environmental reconnaissance.
The CRS-Duo version: with its powerful 2nd conventional drill head, ideal for mining exploration and deep geotechnical work, allowing time and quality-optimised coring in mixed soils and soft-hard alternations. And as soon as the solid rock layer is reached at great depth, the drilling is continued with the Wireline coring machine with the conventional drilling head.
The CRS-Mito version: with its multi-angle articulated mast for drilling on all fronts, ideal for foundation work.
The CRS-Max: the most complete version in terms of possible options, including the automatic rod/tube loading system combined with a dedicated rack and many other optional systems. This version can be combined with the Duo version to benefit from both the 2nd powerful conventional drilling head and a maximum of options.
The standard configuration of the CRS is on tracks, but different configurations are available for the whole range, including truck, tractor or simply on chassis.
